Description: Reconstruction and widening of a major east-west corridor in Montgomery County, Texas.
- The overall project is from IH 45 at the Woodlands to future SH 249 near Magnolia. Our section included the middle segment from near old FM 149 to FM 2978/Egypt Honea Road.
- Under contract through the Montgomery County “Pass Through Toll” Program for final design PS&E, Montgomery & Associates designed and prepared:
- The traffic design for the signing and pavement markings
- Construction Phasing and Sequencing including the Construction Traffic Control Plans. Prepared and presented the TCP to a joint TxDOT/Montgomery County Safety Review Team
- Construction Schedule to determine the contract duration and phasing
- Storm water pollution prevention plan, report and permit preparation
- All quantity take offs and opinion of construction cost
- Complete topographic surveying including development of the TIN files for use in roadway design
- QA/QC reviews of the project including work performed by other consultants
- Coordinated approvals with all pertinent agencies.
